Belletrist Publishes Poem by Cynthia Neely MFA '13

The literary site Belletrist has published "My Son is Trying to Forget Himself," a poem by Cynthia Neely MFA '13.

It reads, in small part:

"and I see his fear – that he does not want 
to be like me, his fear that he is 
too much like me, his fear he will never leave 
this soft flab of home."

Neely is the winner of Bright Hill Press’s chapbook contest for “Passing Through Blue Earth” (2016) and the winner of Flyway: Journal of Writing and Environment’s chapbook contest for Broken Water (2011). Her poems appear in numerous journals.
