Baldwin Cortez PharmD '21: 2021 Wolter-Kluwer Clinical Drug Information Award of Excellence in Clinical Communication

Baldwin Cortez PharmD '21 is the recipient of the 2021 Wolter-Kluwer Clinical Drug Information Award of Excellence in Clinical Communication from the Pacific University School of Pharmacy.

He was nominated for the award due to his academic success, and proven superior verbal and written professional communication skills.

“Baldwin consistently challenged himself to maximize his learning experiences and is known to his faculty and preceptors as being a hard worker,” the nomination said. “We have full confidence that he will be an asset to his future organization.”

Baldwin, from Los Angeles, Calif., earned a doctor of pharmacy in May 2021.

The Pacific University School of Pharmacy offers a three-year path to a doctor of pharmacy degree that prepares students to earn licensure to work in patient care. The school also offers a master of science in pharmaceutical sciences focused on research.
