Annie Lewis ’03 named Multnomah County Library’s Deputy Director

Annie Lewis ’03 stepped into the role of deputy director of Multnomah County Library on Oct. 1, 2022. Lewis formerly held the positions of Gresham Library supervisor and Spanish youth librarian at Fairview-Columbia Library. Lewis also served as the library’s director of community services, specializing in community outreach, education, and information. She is well-known at the library for overseeing culturally conscious community programs and youth outreach.

Lewis was selected from a nationwide search of candidates and is set to bring a focus on equity and outreach to the position. As deputy director, Lewis will manage public services and projects for the library, and act as liaison with the Library Foundation.
