Andrew Bzowyckyj Granted Tenure

Andrew Bzowyckyj has been granted indefinite tenure by Pacific University.

He is an associate professor in the School of Pharmacy who also practices in the primary care setting with Legacy Medical Group in Beaverton, Ore.

His teaching, research and practice experiences include diabetes and other metabolic conditions, health economics and policy, leadership development, critical thinking and problem solving, and curricular design and assessment. 

After completing residency training, Bzowyckyj joined the faculty at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Pharmacy and established clinical pharmacist services in endocrinology and primary care clinics at Truman Medical Centers in Kanas City, Mo. He also precepted student pharmacist on introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences while providing comprehensive medication management for patients with diabetes and associated comorbidities. 

Bzowyckyj is a member of multiple pharmacy and interprofessional organizations, serving in an elected or appointed position within each.
