AmeriCorps*VISTA Position at Pacific

Pacific University is searching for an Academic Success and Engagement Coordinator AmeriCorps*VISTA member. This position focuses on academic success and social mobility for historically marginalized populations, particularly the Latinx and rural populations in Pacific’s backyard of Washington County, Ore. The person hired for this position will have both autonomy and the support of campus partners to create systems that improve our work. We are excited to bring someone into this role who cares about education, equity, and being able to make a difference in our community. AmeriCorps VISTA positions come with a living stipend ($16,617 for a year of service) and an education award that can be used toward tuition or loans of $6,195. Students are eligible to apply for this position, VISTA members can hold other jobs while in service, and the full time schedule and hours are negotiable.

This position will work primarily with undergraduate students, faculty, and staff at the Forest Grove campus, and will report to Stephanie Stokamer, Director of Applied & Experiential Learning for the College of Arts and Sciences.
