Alyssa Invergo Recipient of Johnson & Johnson Residency Award

Alyssa Invergo, a contact lens resident at the Pacific College of Optometry, is the recipient of a 2021 Johnson & Johnson Residency Award.

Invergo received the George W. Mertz Contact Lens Residency Award. These residency awards support post-graduate advanced training in optometric clinical care, education and research. 

Invergo will receive $2,000 toward her graduate education and a $750 travel grant to attend Academy 2021 Boston, Nov. 3-6, 2021.

The 2021 residents were selected by peer review conducted by members from the American Academy of Optometry. This is the second year in a row that a Pacific University contact lens resident received this recognition.
