Alissa (Nielson) Hattman MFA '09 was published in zines & things, a Portland, Ore.,-based zine publishing team, in April 2021. Hattman’s work “POST,” is a curation of postcards she wrote while participating in a month-long postcard writing experiment. “POST” provides an intimate look into Hattman’s life, grapples with feelings of loss during the coronavirus pandemic, and offers readers hope by presenting new-old ways to connect with loved people and places.
