ALAS & ACE Present Baile De Los Muertos

Join ALAS on the UC Patio for snacks, games, live music and food for celebration of Día De Los Muertos from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the UC patio. There will be live music and free tacos. We will be selling other goodies and will accept cash or Venmo.

This event is open to the public, and we hope to see students, staff, faculty and our local community come together for a fun night!

Also, earlier in the day on Friday, accompany us as we will be putting on a Sugar Skull Painting event that is taking place from noon to 2 p.m. in the UC patio. If interested, please fill out the following form.

Día De Los Muertos takes place between Nov. 1 and 2, so that spirits may return home to spend time with their relatives. During this time of celebration, families prep for the event to honor their deceased loved ones by creating altars for them consisting of yellow marigolds, candles, photos of the deceased, paper picado and the favorite food and beverages of the deceased.
