Endowed and Restricted Scholarships
Donor-funded scholarships are available for continuing students who meet specific qualifications. Some endowed and restricted scholarships are awarded based on faculty recommendation, and students are notified of their selection in late spring for the upcoming academic year. Some other endowed and restricted scholarships require an application from the student. Endowed and restricted scholarships are generally awarded for one year only, unless otherwise noted.
Students who are selected to receive an endowed and/or restricted scholarship will be given the opportunity to express their appreciation to the scholarship donor.
College of Arts & Sciences Scholarships for Continuing Students
The Boxer Spirit Award is available to continuing undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences based on consideration of the applicant's personal statement, academic qualifications, activities and interests, and financial need. Award amounts range from $500 to $3,000 and are for one academic year only. Boxer Spirit funds are limited; not all students submitting an application will receive an award. Continuing students may apply each spring for the following academic year. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Eva C. Krebs 'Make A Difference' Boxer Spirit Award
In tribute to her tireless work on behalf of students, the $5,000 Eva C. Krebs 'Make A Difference' Boxer Spirit Award was created to honor a selected student who reflects Eva’s deeply felt social consciousness and desire to make the world a better place. The recipient, through his/her extraordinary actions and efforts, will have made or is making a significant difference in the lives of others or in a community. Priority will be given to a student who has had to overcome barriers, including but not limited to cultural, emotional, physical, familial, political or economic circumstances. Continuing students may apply each spring for the following academic year. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Alumni Association Legacy Endowed Scholarship
The Pacific University Alumni Association Legacy Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually to students who are children or grandchildren of Pacific alumni and are attending Pacific University as an undergraduate or a student in one of Pacific's graduate programs. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Arts & Sciences Endowed Internship Fund Scholarship
The Arts & Sciences Endowed Internship Fund was created with the input and financial support of the College of Arts & Sciences Advisory Council (CASAC). The Council created the internship fund to provide financial support and opportunities for Arts & Sciences students seeking internship positions. Students seeking scholarships for summer and fall internships are encouraged to apply by May 15th; students seeking scholarships for winter and spring internships are encouraged to apply by October 15th.
Boxer ‘Ohana Scholarship
The Boxer 'Ohana Scholarship is for the benefit of Pacific University students with academic promise and demonstrated financial need who are from the state of Hawai'i. Applicants must be full time undergraduate students with junior standing and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or full time graduate students with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or equivalent. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Coral Scholarship
The Coral Scholarship assists a prospective or current undergraduate student in the Pacific University College of Arts & Sciences who demonstrates financial need, attained a high school grade point average of at least 3.0, or maintains a university grade point average of at least 2.5, and identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, or queer. Deadline to apply is March 1.
Golden Guard Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Golden Guard Scholarship is a renewable award of $1000 or more that is given annually to a student who is majoring in a field of study in the College of Arts and Sciences with at least a 2.5 GPA, who receives a federal Pell Grant, and who will be the first in their household to receive a four-year college degree. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Henry Kaulia Endowed Scholarship
The Henry Kaulia Endowed Scholarship provides financial support to a student with an interest in becoming an educator who is from the state of Hawaii, or who has one or more parents or grandparents from Hawaii. An educator can be any major or minor and examples include teachers, coaches, and athletic trainers. One $1000 award is available to a junior, a senior and an undergraduate alumnus of Pacific who is enrolled in a Pacific graduate program. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Newcomer Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Pacific University Newcomer Endowed Scholarship Fund provides funding to help immigrants and refugees in the United States achieve the advantage of a college degree.
The Newcomer Scholarship provides financial support for students who are U.S. residents born in other countries with demonstrated financial need and academic promise. Priority will be given to applicants with refugee or asylum status, who have had to overcome barriers, including but not limited to, cultural, emotional, physical, familial, political, or economic circumstances. Deadline to apply is March 1.

The Arthur E. Schauermann Memorial Scholarship is a non-renewable award given annually to graduates of Forest Grove High School who attend Pacific University as undergraduate or graduate/professional students. Deadline to apply is March 1.

Pacific Scholarship in Mathematics and Sciences (PSiMS)
Pacific University will award scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students, and to returning sophomores who commit to majoring in Science or Mathematics and are planning to pursue a career in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), including STEM education. The scholarships are awarded to students with financial need and who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and renewable amounts up to $8000 per year are awarded to selected undergraduates.

The Pacific University Veteran's Endowed Scholarship provides support for veterans who are in good academic standing and have demonstrated financial need. Deadline to apply is March 1.
