VP's Corner

Greetings from the Vice President of Information Services

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Pacific University Information Serivces. As the University’s first Vice President of Information Services, it is my great privilege to serve the wonderful Pacific community of dedicated students, faculty, staff, alumni and Board of Trustees. My career in the United States Army and now in higher education allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge surrounding technology to the university to share with the students, faculty, staff, alumns, and friends of Pacific.

It has been my commitment to ensure Pacific has the highest quality technology available. In addition, it is my commitment to bring in emerging technologies and let the Pacific community use and experience them first hand. This provides a wonderful educational opportunity for the Pacific community by learning new technologies and techniques side by side with the academics offered in Pacific's different disiplines.

I am especially proud of our dedicated professionals working in University Information Services, better know as UIS. Whether you stop by the Technology Information Center and have a question about your personal computer, an issue with Datatel and BoxerOnline, or just wish to talk technology on the side, I invite you to communicate with me or members of University Information Services.
