Staff Steering Committee (SSC)

Update

In spring 2008, a decision was made to reform Pacific University's staff governance model. Historically, staff governance was carried out by two bodies, the Manager's Council (MC) and the Staff Steering Committee (SSC). The new comprehensive Staff Senate will complement the recently adopted Faculty Senate, as well as the future student government model. Together, these three entities combined will strengthen tradition, transition and transformation within the Pacific University community. In the constantly changing educational environment, we need shared governance that can adapt and respond in a timely and effective manner.

We welcome any staff-related questions, comments or concerns.  Simply email us at staffsenate@pacificu.edu.
