Berglund Student internships awarded
The Berglund Student Internship Award is awarded to four students each year and is annually renewable. The Berglund Center is proud to announce the 2009-2010 awards.
The Berglund Student Internship Award is awarded to four students each year and is annually renewable. This is a unique award for students who have interest, experience and ability with the Internet, electronic materials, or online applications. Student undertake, help create, and research various projects at the Berglund Center. It is an opportunity for a student to pursue research or projects on topics related to the internet which are of personal interest to them.
This year the Berglund Student Interns are:
- Jennifer Hernandez, who is being rewarded for the third year in a row, and will continue to author research articles on various social effects of the internet for our online journal Interface
- Kailyn Wentz, a Senior with an interest in digital imaging
- Valarie Horres, a Sophmore who has an interest in exploring gender related topics.
- Nicole Nowlin, a Junior with an interest in International Relations and a special interest in Japanese Manga publications.
We are pleased to offer this opportunity to encourage and disseminate student research and look forward to their outcomes, which will be publically presented as they each finish their projects.
