Students are responsible for transportation for all practicum and fieldwork experiences during the 34 month Doctoral program. Any added living and transportation expenses for the Level II Fieldwork will also be the student's responsibility.

Financial Aid

Need-based aid in the form of grants, loans, work-study, and other funding is available to those who demonstrate financial need. For more information, visit the Financial Aid Office.

Students applying to the School of Occupational Therapy should have a copy of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file in the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible after Jan. 1, and no later than March 1. FAFSA forms are available at any university or college Financial Aid Office. Financial aid records from all schools previously attended are also required.

Do not wait to be accepted into your program to apply for financial aid.

WICHE Student Exchange Program

The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Student Exchange Program (WICHE) offers $11,100 in financial assistance for the first year and $20,500 for the second year to certified professional occupational therapy students from the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Hawai‘i, Montana, and Wyoming. For the most accurate and up to date information, please contact WICHE Student Exchange Program, P.O. All residents from the above states are strongly encouraged to apply for WICHE certification. The application deadline for WICHE funding is Oct. 15 of the year prior to entrance in the program.
