Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of natural and applied environmental science, along with the related fields of human behavior and environmental health.

Students develop a core understanding of the language concepts and methods of environmental sciences, as well as perspectives on current issues facing the environment. They have a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between humans and their environment, which will suit them in careers and civic life.

Students who major in the field earn a bachelor of science in environmental science with an emphasis in environmental biology or chemistry and toxicology.
