Student Housing

Why Live on Campus?

Students who live on campus usually get better grades, make more friends, and are more positive about their college experience compared with students who live off campus!

On-Campus Residence Halls (dormitory)

We have 3 residence halls on campus. Each one has a resident director (RD), resident assistant (RA) and academic assistant. Usually two students share each room. Some halls have private bathrooms and some have shared bathrooms. All rooms are furnished and have internet and wi-fi connections. All halls have kitchens, laundry rooms, recreation rooms, and vending machines. The outside doors are always locked and for security. Students chose from several different meal plans. Students out of high school less than two years are required to live in residence halls. Older students can live here if space is available.

Usually, there is a 6-month minimum stay. Some apartments are furnished and some utilities are included in the price. The average cost is $600+ per month. This housing choice is best for students over 21 years old. No meal service is available.

Public Transportation

The Forest Grove-Portland area has an excellent system of public trains and buses. It is one of the best systems in the United States. You can buy a monthly pass and ride any train or bus, any distance, as often as you like.
