It’s spring break for undergraduate students on the Forest Grove Campus from March 21 to 25. Many, but not all students on the Hillsboro Campus in the College of Health Professions are also taking a break. Pacific University offices will remain open.

The Oregon Healthcare Workforce Institute (OHWI) Pacific is providing free access to this online MSBR training for Pacific University health profession students, staff and faculty. The eight-week sessions begin Feb. 9.
Pitonyak most recently served as associate director of the University of Puget Sound School of Occupational Therapy. She joins Pacific's faculty in March 2022.

Pacific University was ranked third nationally for its undergraduate programs in health sciences by Intelligent.com, a college rankings service. Intelligent also named Pacific the best college for pre-professional programs in Oregon and second overall among Oregon’s private colleges.

Please join the Pacific University Doctor of Science Program in celebrating its very first cohort to graduate from the program!  We are pleased to announce that 15 graduates received their Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degrees on January 31.  Congratulations to the Class of 2022! 
Santiago Perez Aud '22
Santiago Perez AuD '22 earned a $3,000 scholarship from CaptionCall, a company which makes phones for people with hearing loss with real-time speech transcription. A third-year graduate student, his research focuses on health disparities related to diabetes and hearing loss, especially among diverse populations.
Effective Oct. 1, Dr. Kevin Chui has transitioned from his position as the director of the Pacific University School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Dr. Rebecca “Becca” Reisch PT, DPT, PhD, will serve as interim program director while a national search is underway.
