The report of top jobs for 2022 are based on employer demand, salary and consistent growth in job postings.

Optometrist is No. 2 on the list, with a 121% increase in job postings from 2019 to 2022. Pharmacist is No. 5, with an 83% increase in job postings. Both list average base salaries of more than $100,000 a year.
