COB Announces Ambassadors for IBCC

Congratulations to Kristen Tamagawa and Eliette Schulte!

Eliette SchulteThe College of Business selected Kristen Tamagawa and Eliette Schulte to be student ambassadors for the COB at the International Business Career Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. This is the first time that the COB has paid for students to attend the conference at no expense to themselves.

Held in March, the International Business Career Conference is an opportunity for the ambassadors to prepare to enter the international business workforce by networking with organization executives, career professionals, and academic leaders. The conference will include speeches, workshops, and panels led by business executives and career professionals.

Upon returning, Schulte and Tamagawa will present their experience to faculty, staff, and their peers to spur discussion surrounding careers in international business.

The College of Business is continuing to generate new opportunities for its students and looks forward to more innovative approaches in the future.
 

UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the 2020 conference was canceled. These student ambassadors will have the option to be our representatives again next year.
