Berglund Center Inspired Ideas Competition Returns In Person Spring 2022

Inspired Ideas competition

The Inspired Ideas Competition is back in person after a two-year pandemic-related hiatus.

The Berglund Center invites all students to participate in the 2022 Inspired Ideas Competition — a unique opportunity for all students at Pacific University, graduate and undergraduate, who have an original, innovative or creative idea that solves a problem or improves the lives of others.

The competition is judged based on the innovation and creativity merit of the idea, rather than its financial or business potential. Because this is an “ideas” competition, no previous prototype or proof-of-concept is needed to participate.

Registration takes only a few minutes. Deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Friday, April 22.

The Inspired Ideas Competition will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in McGill Auditorium on the Forest Grove Campus. Teams will have 5 minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of judges. If your team wins, you will receive up to $25,000 worth of financial support in the form of scholarships, funding, mentorship, business development, legal and product development assistance to turn your idea into an actual product/prototype during the next academic year.

Space is limited! Apply now!

Informational events held weekly until the competition:
