COVID-19 Information

Outdoor Pursuits is offering outdoor equipment rental services and day trips to Pacific students, and non-students. We ask that you review the other information, including the updated rental reservations, pick up, and return procedures, prior to making a reservation.

The list of available equipment and trips will be updated as we adjust to each phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have any questions, you can email us at outdoors@pacificu.edu, or call us at 503-352-2264.

We appreciate your patience with this situation, and hope that you are all able to stay active, spend some time in the fresh air, and maintain your health! If you have any questions about COVID-19 or how Pacific University will be functioning during this time, please visit the COVID-19 Response and Planning webpages.

Always Say Yes to Adventure....and Outdoor Pursuits!

While Pacific students are plugging away in their classes, the Outdoor Pursuits staff is also hard at work creating trips and activities for next semester. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for information about upcoming indoor kayak pool sessions, cross country ski trips, and rafting series!

In the meantime, there are plenty of ways students can get involved with Outdoor Pursuits, including renting gear from Outdoor Pursuits for a long weekend, borrowing a free cruiser bike to ride around town, or even simply going for a hike at the local Henry Hagg Lake.

The last Outdoor Pursuits excursion for the semester takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17th — an indoor rock climbing trip! This indoor excursion will certainly be warmer and dryer, plus just as much fun as a day out on the rocks. Transportation, gear and instruction is provided for this evening getaway. Grab a friend and reserve your space for Nov. 17!

Swing by the Outdoor Pursuits office located at 2017 21st Ave. in downtown Forest Grove between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to speak to our fabulous staff, call us at 503-352-2264, or email us at outdoors@pacificu.edu.
