Pacific University adopted a Floating Holiday Award for commencement event staff to recognize the additional duties and contributions of exempt staff when assisting with the May and August commencement ceremonies for our graduates. Salary-exempt staff who work at the May Commencement will be assigned commencement floating holiday hours to be used through April 30, 2025.

It is pharmacy postgraduate Residency Match season and the national results are in for the first phase of the match. On March 13, our PharmD Class of 2024 and alumni achieved a match rate of 82% for Postgraduate Year One (PGY-1) National Matching System (NMS)-listed programs. This continues the strong performance of last year's 85% Phase-I match rate. These are wonderful results when over 41% of the graduating class will be pursuing postgraduate education.
There is a new kiosk in the Library's 24-hour room stocked with food from the Food Share, and soon will offer school supplies from the Free Store.
