Professor Victor Rodriguez to Lead New Hispanic Outreach Program

Pacific University is pleased to announce that Victor Rodriguez, associate professor of Spanish, has been appointed the director of the university's new Hispanic Outreach Program.

The program’s vision is to provide a supportive dynamic community for Hispanic students and their families based on cultural understanding and values.

In his first year as director, Professor Rodriguez will provide personal outreach to create a nurturing community environment, work to locate space on campus to serve as a gathering place, and support programming for students in coordination with various campus organizations.

Victor will also be reaching out to colleagues in departments and programs across the campus, prompting them to refer and encourage students to participate in and benefit from the program.
