Boxer Love Story: Warren Lund '47 & Phyllis (Johanson) Lund '49

Warren and Phyllis will be celebrating their 64 years of marriage in August 2014.

“This was in spite of dire warnings that it would never last from Dr. Story, Miss Crane, and house mother Mrs. Eckart,” said Phyllis. “I met him in Herrick hall downstairs in the recreation room where he was playing ping pong with my roommate LaRoyce Flisram. The Second World War took him away for two years, but he looked me up and that was it.”

Warren Lund '47 passed away in 2016. Phyllis passed away in 2021.
