Boxer Love Story: Joyce (Bedortha) Haller '51 and Dean Haller '51

Joyce and Dean first met in English class as freshmen in 1946 and “the rest is history” said Joyce.

They are parents of five children, grandparents of fourteen and great-grandparents of three.

“All in all a grand assortment,” said Joyce.

Their life together has been a wonderful journey and as they enter their 80s, both look forward to a lot more.

“We remember our tenure at Pacific fondly – one more chapter in our book of life. Our best to all who read this.”

Dean passed away in 2009 and Joyce followed in 2013.
