Christine Korb is an experienced Music Therapy Program Director and has been involved with program development, initiating and implementing program curriculum and strategies, is actively involved with the program assessment process and collaborates with community professionals as she increases the numbers of music therapists practicing and employed nationwide. She is genuinely dedicated to and passionate about rapport building between students and continues to actively participate in the music therapy community of professional music therapists and university and academic faculty.  She is a published composer  and is dedicated to the research process and is a published author of music therapy research. She has presented at various American Music Therapy Association Conferences, the 2002 World Federation of Music Therapy Conference in Oxford, the Healing Symposium of the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival in 2004, and the World Federation of Music Therapy Conference in Buenos Aires in 2008. She has been a frequent book reviewer for the Arts in Psychotherapy journal. Her most recent publication is a book, 'The Music Therapy Profession
