Bradley Coffey's areas of interest and expertise are visual performance enhancement with emphasis upon binocular vision, spatial/motion perception, sports optometry, dynamic visual acuity, and visual-vestibular interaction. Dr. Coffey teaches courses related to Behavioral Optometry and clinical application of visual neuro rehabilitation. In addition to teaching and research responsibilities at Pacific, he maintains a part-time private referral practice with emphasis upon sports and rehabilitative optometry, binocular vision, strabismus, and amblyopia. He has recently been collaborating in the development of an iPad app designed to measure aspects of human visual motion perception, something that has never before been achieved in a clinical context.  Dr. Coffey is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a University Marshal.  

Research Interests

Human visual performance enhancement, motion perception, binocular vision, interaction between central and peripheral vision, dynamic visual acuity.

Personal Interest/Hobbies

Attending dance and theatre performances, birding, hiking, messing about in boats, good food, music, lively conversation, the beach.
