Opened in 2010, the Pacific University Hillsboro Campus features two state-of-the-art buildings, along with classroom, lab and student services spaces throughout Hillsboro’s downtown Health & Education District. Designed for commuter students, the campus features an eatery/market in Creighton Hall, lounge and kitchenette areas, and lockers. Services on campus include a library, Student and Employee Health Center, Student Counseling Center, and offices for Graduate Student Services, University Information Services, Mail Services, Graduate & Professional Admissions, and Campus Public Safety.

The fifth-largest city in Oregon, Hillsboro is an energetic suburb of Portland and home to the state’s high-tech industry. Pacific’s campus is in the heart of downtown Hillsboro’s Health and Education District, where programs have created strong partnerships with businesses and local leaders. The campus sits directly on the MAX lightrail line, giving students direct access to the greater Portland area. The City of Hillsboro operates a robust parks and recreation program with a wide variety of opportunities for students, and campus is just an hour drive from the beach or two hours from the snow-capped Cascade Mountains.
Getting Here
The Hillsboro Campus is about 20 miles west of Portland, off Highway 26 (the Sunset Highway). Downtown Hillsboro and the Hillsboro Campus are directly on the TriMet lightrail and bus lines. The Intermodal Transit Facility, adjacent to campus, also offers a Bikepark with indoor bike parking, commuter showers and lockers.
Parking
Campus parking is limited in Hillsboro. University employees are provided access to reserved parking on Floors 3-5. Student parking is available by permit in the campus lot. Students are not allowed to park in the ITF.
The Intermodal Transit Facility (ITF) provides parking for Pacific University, Tuality Hospital, and Portland Community College visitors. Pacific clinic patients may park in reserved spaces in the lot adjacent to Creighton Hall.
Street parking is not allowed in the residential areas around the Hillsboro Campus, but free parking is available in the following nearby lots:
- Hillsboro Parking Garage, 110 SW Washington St. Bike lockers, 24-hour parking limit, handicapped parking. Designated park-and-ride location.
- County parking lot, SW Dennis & SW Baseline
- County parking lot, North 1st Avenue between NW Lincoln & NW Jackson
- County parking lot, NW Adams between NW. Lincoln & NW Jackson
- County parking lot, NW Adams between NW Jackson and Rachel
The MAX Blue Line runs immediately past the Hillsboro Campus, with the closest park-and-ride lots at Orenco Station (four stops away), Fairplex Station (two stops away), and County Garage (two stops away).
