Pacific, PCC Present Brahms Requiem
Pacific University is proud to join Portland Community College-Rock Creek in presenting two performances of Brahms Requiem in February.
The Pacific University Choirs and PCC-Rock Creek Chamber Choir will perform, accompanied by a full orchestra and featuring guest soloists baritone Richard Zeller and soprano Anne McKee Reed.
The performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center on Pacific’s Forest Grove Campus and at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at Village Church in Beaverton.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students and seniors, and free for PCC and Pacific students and employees. Advance tickets available at the links below. Tickets will also be available at the door, based on availability.
Brahms’ Requiem Mass — fully titled the German Requiem Mass op. 45 — established Brahms as a major composer of his time and today remains one of the most beloved pieces in the classical repertoire.
